Obsessed With: Felt Pinwheels
I'm absolutely loving little felt pinwheels lately! What a cute and whimsical touch for a wedding or bridal shower, right?! I attached mine to a little stick to use as a cupcake topper. {Cupcakes not pictured because I'm out of eggs. Womp, womp!}
These are super simple to make and I'm going to show you how in 9 quick steps.
Step 1: Cut a small square of felt as your outside color. Mine is 1.75 x 1.75, but you can make yours any size depending on your project.
Step 2: Cut a second small square, smaller than the first square. Mine was 1.50 inches x 1.50.
Step 3: Glue the second square to the first. A single dot in the center will do it. =]
Step 4: Cut diagonal down each corner, but DON'T cut through all the way!
Step 5: Place another dot of hot glue in the center of your squares. Get ready to fold down each same side corner to the center.
Step 6: Glue down four corners. Use more glue if need be, don't worry if it doesn't look pretty.
Step 7: Make sure all four corners are secure.
Step 8: Hot glue a button to the center. Almost finished!
Step 9: Cut a little square {or rectangle or triangle, whatever!} of felt and use it to glue your stick to the back of your pinwheel. You're finished! Enjoy!

Officially relaunching T&T!
After a long hiatus and a LOT of consideration, I've decided to relaunch Tattoos & Tulle!
Why did I go on hiatus in the first place? Well, because wedding blogging "professionally" {and I hesitate to even use that word} is intimidating. But, my passion for weddings hasn't died down and I'm still positive that there's a market for all the "offbeat lite" girls trying to plan a wedding. So, this time, I'm going to keep my head up and keep going, no matter what. I do hope that you guys will enjoy the new and improved T&T! Submit your weddings and guest posts and tell your friends! ;]
XO,
Marissa

Love Letters {Typography}: 2.9.11
Fonts are an important aspect of the wedding, though often overlooked. Fonts, as much as style of invitation, can make a strong first impression. Luckily for you, I'm a total typography nerd!
